Dalekovod gets two new contracts in Ukraine

Zagreb, October 29th, 2013 – The company Dalekovod d.d. has received news of getting two new contracts with the Ukrainian company UKRENERGO (National Power Company) for transmission line construction and reconstruction works.
During the two-stage tendering process preceded by a prequalification process, Dalekovod d.d. has received news of getting two new ‘key in hand’ contracts for the National Power Company UKRENERGO.

The first contract pertains to the construction of a 330 kV transmission line, the diversion of the existing 330 kV Novokakhovska-Ostrovska transmission line to a new 330 kV Kakhovska transformer substation, and the reconstruction of a section of the existing transmission line. The value of this contract is 11,099,179.04 EUR (without VAT). The construction deadline is set for 460 days from the signing date of the contract.

The second contract pertains to the construction of a 330 kV transmission line, the diversion of the existing 330 kV Novokakhovska-Khersonska transmission line to a new 330 kV Kakhovska transformer substation, and the reconstruction of a section of the existing transmission line. The value of this contract is 18,485,315.93 EUR (without VAT). The construction deadline of this contract is set for 650 days from the signing date of the contract.

The financing source of both contracts is EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development).

These contracts will ensure the implementation of Ukraine’s National Energy Strategy until 2030, and will enable the linking of the Ukrainian energy network with 330 kV transmission lines.
