The contracted works are worth 30.7 million EUR, and the project is financed by the German KfW Frankfurt Development Bank. The contracted works include design works, the delivery of all equipment and the construction of a 90-kilometer-long 400 kV transmission line from Priština to the border of the Republic of Kosovo with Albania. The agreed completion deadline is 24 months.

For the purpose of project realization financial support will be provided by the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Furthermore, I am pleased that a large international bank has recognized our company’s competence and quality, despite the challenges we have faced during the past year. This contract is also important to us because we will employ our own design engineers, and manufacturing capabilities, and in the end entirely build the transmission line with all related equipment, “stated Goran Brajdić, President of the Dalekovod Management Board.

Design works will start immediately, followed with the manufacture of equipment, while the start of construction works is planned for the beginning of the next year's summer.
