Vik - Songdal

Construction is currently underway on the 420 kV transmission line section Vik – Sogndal, part of the broader power system interconnection plan linking the Aurland – Sogndal – Vik regions.

Within the project, Dalekovod OSO is participating as the supplier of suspension and connection equipment. The most demanding phase – the installation of 50-metre-high towers for the conductor crossing over one of Norway’s largest fjords – is being successfully carried out thanks to the experience and expertise of our team, as well as the excellent coordination between the installation crews, pilots and load masters.

Despite strong winds, challenging terrain and constantly changing weather conditions, the project is progressing ahead of schedule, further confirming Dalekovod’s position as a reliable contractor on some of Europe’s most complex infrastructure projects.
